Christmas Eve's Eve

It's just one more day before Christmas Eve and just two more days before Christmas! I can't wait! We have been hustling and bustling all around town not only for Christmas but as well as getting ready for a big trip to North Carolina where we'll celebrate Christmas and New Year's with Granddaddy and Grandma and all my mommy's gang! We're leaving the 75 degree weather after the last Christmas Eve service and then driving to NC. Daddy says we'll arrive around 5am on Christmas morning. Wonder if I will see Santa putting my gifts under the tree.
Well, like I said, we've been running non-stop, so I dressed for the occasion...
We even ran over to our favorite restaurant, Barbara Jean's for dinner. Okay, we drove, but you get the point! Even had my first taste of pumpkin bread, and get this...a stranger gave it to me. You'll have to ask my mommy and daddy about that. It was pretty cool.... Now we are home and packing, and yes, I'm still chilling out in one of my new digs that I got for Christmas, thanks to Grammy and watching TV. Gotta run, midnight snack time (at 8pm). Make sure you log on here tomorrow afternoon. I got something to show you... Merry Christmas Eve's Eve, Davis

A Week Long Celebration

Since me, my mommy, and daddy will be heading up to North Carolina on Christmas Eve, we celebrated Christmas with all the Peters gang today. We had a great time, but one of the greatest surprises was that my Aunt Lisa, from Delaware, was able to be here to celebrate with us. Our morning started out with a great breakfast prepared by my Aunt Denise and then it was present time. I took a short nap while everyone was eating, but I couldn't stay down any longer. I woke up and the presents were being opened. The presents started coming my direction and they just kept coming, and coming, and coming. . . . . . and coming! Many toys and clothes later, I just sat back and played for a while. Thank you to grammy, pop-pop, mom-mom, Aunt Denise, Uncle Greg, Seth, Aunt Lisa, Uncle Chris, and Mrs. Michelle for all of my gifts. It was a great morning and I am so thankful to be able to get new toys, but I do know that Christmas is not all about toys. . . but about Jesus. Jesus was born, kinda like me, and was a baby, like me. So, we celebrate his birth, and I will be celebrating all week long, because once I'm in North Carolina the celebration will continue. Join me in celebrating all week long, and I'll be posting again soon. Let the celebration go on, Davis

My First Christmas Present Ever

There's been a lot of "firsts" this Christmas season! Today was another. I received my very first Christmas present ever! Some of my friends at church gave me a gift card to Toys R Us! Thanks to the Cottle's and the Bult's for giving me a "first". I can't wait to go spend it. Matter a fact, I threw a fit when mommy and daddy said we couldn't go today 'cause it was raining outside. Oh well, there's always another day...
Gotta close for now. Gonna have some more fun playing with my gift... Big day tomorrow, we're gonna celebrate Christmas on my daddy's side of the family (that's like grammy and pop-pop and all them) because my Aunt Lisa is flying in from Delaware for the weekend! I'll post some pictures soon...
Bye,
Davis

Santa Claus Came to Town

It's been a day we've all waited for...and not Christmas Day. It was the day Santa came to town! Yep, today was the day I got to see Santa! Me, my mommy, my grammy, and pop-pop went to the mall and got my first ever photo with Santa. I thought he was a very nice guy.

And yes, he's bringing me all that I asked for because I am a good little boy! At least, that's what he told me! We'll see in just 11 days...

Well, gotta wrap some gifts. Busy few days coming up...

Merry Christmas, Davis

O' Christmas Tree

Well, Christmas is in full swing. As I posted earlier, the lighting of the tree was not as spectacular to me as my mommy and daddy thought it would be. But now that it's around, I thought I would further investigate what it was all about. So I took a stroll... It was a long crawl (not really crawling yet, so I did the pull with my arms), but well worth it... This is awesome. Lots of toys on this thing! Uh oh, think I'm not supposed to be doing this. Here comes mommy and she's not happy! To be continued....

Lil' Helper

One of my favorite things to do is help around the house, or at least be a good cheerleader while the work is being done. I enjoy wrapping presents for Christmas, sweeping the floor (watching the broom go by me, in my walker), or folding laundry. Mommy does alot of laundry and I like helping her fold it all in the floor. So, the other day when I was chipping in and helping out, I ended up in a strange place. . .

It was a ton of fun hangin out in my laundry basket (much better than folding clothes). So, if you need to enlist my laundry folding services just give me a shout out!

Going to help fold, Davis

It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas

Well, it's this time of year that I am getting really used to! Christmas is full swing around my house.  Me, mommy, and daddy decorated the Christmas tree last weekend, however, it didn't capture my devout attention like my folkes were hoping. Yeah, it's neat and everything, but oh well.

Since Thanksgiving, it has been very busy! It's almost a blur to be honest.  This week, mommy had choir practice one night, then we took two teens to hear Chris Tomlin and his Christmas tour in Orlando on Wednesday.  Now that was awesome.  I loved every minute of it.  Then last night was a big night for my daddy.  We hosted the Overflo Christmas Party with the Family. There were people everywhere!  Big crowd and lots of fun.  And as an added bonus, we offered a Christmas family portrait to be taken on site by our friend, Jay Caruso.  Well, guess who got his own photo shoot?  Here is my first Christmas photo ever...

Then here's another photo taken a few minutes later...

Thanks Mr. Jay!  It was a lot of fun!

Well, better wrap things up.  Heard we got another busy weekend  A party tonight, church all weekend and I'm sure much more.  We'll talk soon!

Keeping Christ in Christmas,
Davis
