Little Helper

Occasionally Mommy and I will stop by and see Daddy at work. I like to stop in, give him hugs and kisses, and see how he's doing, and Mommy does too. When we arrived and witnessed just how busy Daddy was, I knew he needed my help. . . So, like every good little helper, I pitched in. I was able to get alot done in a short amount of time, with Mrs. Sandra's help. The day went much smoother for Daddy, thanks to me!! So, if anyone needs any help at work, specifically typing, please let me know. I'm always on stand-by ready to lend a helping hand! I better run and get some more work done.

Half Year

So recently I turned six months old! Man am I feelin' old. I had to go the doctor for my six month check up and that trip included 3 shots. I don't really care for the shots, but I'm pretty tough so I try to "man up" when the nurse pulls out the needles. I weigh almost 18 lbs. and and am just over 28 inches long. The doctors says I'm a lean, mean, growing machine. . . . just kidding!! He didn't say that but he did say that I looked great and appear to be right on track with my growth and progress, so that was great news.

With the doctor visit behind us, Mom said we needed to go get family pictures made. Daddy was really reluctant, but finally with a little prodding we all ended up having pictures made on Sunday afternoon. I did pretty good, but wasn't really fond of the bright flash that happened every time I even began to crack a smile. We were able to view the proofs and I thought I would share a few with you. . . so here goes.

Pimp My Rides

Got some good news to share with you! I got some new wheels recently and I've been having a blast riding in style around the neighborhood. Now, I have to take mommy or daddy with me, but that's okay. They are good company.
Here's my first new ride. Some friends at church gave me this. I love feeling the wind in my face as we fly down the streets....

Then just a few weeks, my daddy got some Target gift cards (at his own request) for his birthday. He wanted to buy some mountain bikes for him and mommy to ride. Well, you can't forget about me....so they bought me a sweet ride....

Now I need to grow into....so we just took a spin around the block. As I get bigger, I'll be racing up and down the streets. It will be fun 'cause now me, mommy, and daddy can go riding....

Well, now you see my wheels. Give me a shout if you want to go cruisin' some time soon. Until then, I'll be pimping my rides....

Very Sleepy

As I said in a previous post, I slept through the night, and every since then I have slept every night. I am getting some great sleep and I wake up feeling great. I love eating my big breakfast at around 8:30am and then playing, playing, and more playing. Speaking of playing; I really love my walker. I think it may very well be my favorite toy of all time, or at least of the last 6 months. It wears me out when I play in my walker for a long time. I get sooooooooo tired and that's great because then I sleep much better. Let me tell you about my evening. Mommy needed to go run some errands and get some things done and so my Daddy said, "Why don't me and Davis go with you?!" Me, Mommy and Daddy went to Ormond and while Mommy was getting her errands accomplished, Daddy and I went to the beach. It was so windy, and I loved it. I also love hearing the ocean, that was really cool. Of course, the night ended with Mommy getting a coffee and Daddy getting some orange sherbet ice cream, and me . . . well I got a lousy bottle when I got home. Mommy says one day I'll get the fun stuff!! I better run. I have to go to the doctor today so keep me in your thoughts and prayers! Davis Anderson Peters

Breakthrough

I'm so excited and rested this morning. I just wanted to post really quick and let everyone know that I slept all night last night!! YAY!!! And yes my Mommy came in and checked my pulse this morning to make sure I was okay. One more breakthrough, everyone knows that I have hated cereal with a purple passion since day one of eating. I just want you to know that this morning I actually ate it with no fuss!! YAY!! It took some bananas to make it taste good, but that's okay. Just wanted to update you and send a few random pictures. (this pict is me sporting my samurai look!) Have a Great Day!!

Labor Day

I thoroughly enjoyed my Labor Day. I enjoy any day that Mommy and Daddy are home with me. We played and ate in the morning and then it was bath time. I love taking baths! I reeeally love putting my feet in the water and kicking so that water splashes everywhere. I took a little nap after my bath and then decided to ride down to the beach. I went to the beach and strolled around for a little while and then Mommy and Daddy went to get some ice cream. Mommy let me try a little of hers and I got chocolate all over my face! That cold, chocolate ice cream tasted awesome and felt great on my gums. After getting some ice cream we headed back to the car and I watched my cousin Seth play in the ocean. He did some really cool tricks on his boogie board. Overall I had a great Labor Day and loved a day of relaxation. . . oh wait all of my days are full of relaxation!!Bye for Now,

Bono

Tonight Daddy, Mommy and I went out on the town. . . the big town of Palm Coast! Actually, we even ventured a little further and went to St. Augustine. We went out to eat with some of our friends and then headed to the outlets. I had a fair time, because I am struggling with my gums right now, and they are driving me nuts. Who would have ever thought that something as small as a tooth could give me such a hard time??? I can't sleep good, I drool everywhere, I don't feel well, and overall just feel like I'm falling apart all because of a little tooth. I did catch a little nap in the car on the way to the outlets and then woke up for all the shopping action! Daddy found me some really cool glasses, I think they look like Bono (the leader singer for the band called U2... just in case you didn't know). I think I look way cooler in my glasses than Bono though, and I'm pretty sure Mommy and Daddy think I do too. I caught another little snooze on the home and then wanted to play for a little while after getting home. Please pray that my teeth come in really soon and that Mommy, Daddy, and I don't lose too much sleep before they do come in. Hope you all have a great weekend and I hope I see YOU this weekend!Good Night, Davis

Livin' Life

This past weekend I had a great time at church and then had a wonderful afternoon because my Aunt Lisa was down from Delaware. She came and spent some time with me on Sunday afternoon. I had such a good Sunday that I decided to boycott sleep! I didn't even take a good nap until late Sunday afternoon and it certainly wasn't a long one. While Aunt Lisa was here she fed me lunch, which consisted of green beans, bananas, and pear juice. I tried to tell her how good it was, but I don't think she was buying it. Anyway, I hope you had a great weekend and we will chat soon!
Peace Out,
Davis
