Fun Times, Celebrations & Dunkin' Donuts

So glad to be able to post that I am feeling much better.  I still have moments when my nose wants to run and all that nasty stuff, but I feel pretty sure that is related to all the pollen in the air.  My nebulizer and albuterol really helped and even now I can use it if I need to.  Now, on to better things. . .

Last weekend my family and I went to St. Augustine.  We went downtown and walked the beautiful streets and the weather was absolutely incredible.  I think my favorite part of the trip was taking the stroller out and seeing all the boats docked.  Some of those boats were real beauties.  After touring around we went to a restaurant called "The Back 40".  It was not really my "cup of tea" but Mommy and Daddy really enjoyed it.  It was a fun weekend and I was just really happy to be feeling one hundred percent again.

This weekend has been a ton of fun so far.  Last night it was a grand celebration of Grammy's 25th birthday!  Aunt Lisa suprised Grammy and flew in from Delaware to celebrate.  It was a blast, and my favorite part was the mashed potatoes at Outback.  All of the family was there so that is always a good time!  Mom-mom was there too, and it's always good to see her out and about.  It was a good night.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRAMMY!!

I almost forgot, on special days. . . ok at least once a week, Daddy enjoys a Dunkin Donuts donut in the morning.  I am definately a fan of Dunkin Donuts, and I love it that Daddy now shares his breakfast with me on D&D days!  Thanks Dad, you're the best!

Have a great weekend, and I'll touch base again next week!

Love,
Davis

Breathing Out & Breaking Through

There are a  couple of pretty big events going on in my life.  First and foremost, the long awaited first tooth has finally popped through my top gum.  Daddy, Mommy and I have waited so long for this little booger to pop through, and it has finally.  You can't see it really well, but Daddy and I had a fun time trying to get a picture of it.
Also, I have been having a little trouble breathing well at night due to congestion and junk all in my throat, nose, and chest.  Mommy took me to the doctor and he gave me a nebulizer and said use it a couple of times a day.  I hate that thing with a purple passion!!  After I calmed down and realized it wouldn't hurt me it was okay, but it is still not a pleasant experience.
With all of these issues (teething and breathing), I haven't been able to get alot of sleep so, neither have Mommy and Daddy.  Well, Friday morning came and we were all able to catch up on sleep.  I woke up around 6:30 AM and then went to Mommy and Daddy's bed and slept three more hours.  It was awesome being in their big bed.
Well, that's my week in a nut shell.  Hope you had a great week!  Looking forward to a great weekend ahead!
Good Night,

Celebrate Easter

Wow, what a whirlwind of a weekend I was able to experience!  This past weekend was very busy for my family and I, as we celebrated Easter along with our Parkview church family.  We were all at church on Saturday night for our normal service and it was great.
Easter day began for my Daddy at about 4:45 AM. . . yes that was 4:45 AM.  I must say, I am very thankful that was not me!  Daddy was able to see the sunrise at Princess Place Preserve along with approximately 250 other people who came out to the sunrise service.

Next up was Mommy, she was up at 6:30 AM.  Once again, I'm so glad it wasn't me up that early!  After Mommy was able to do some preparation for the day, I was up at about 7:30 AM.  Yes, 7:30 AM is still too early for this big guy, but I went along with the flow.  After a big breakfast, getting cleaned up and ready for church, and loading all we needed for the day in the car, we were on our way to church.  It was a marathon kind of day at church.  Four services on Sunday is alot, but it was well worth it for Easter.
After church all the gang went to Barbara Jeans for a nice lunch.  After lunch, my cousin Seth and I had a Easter egg hunt.  It was a blast, although I think he found a few more eggs than I did!!  It was overall a beautiful day to celebrate!  Mommy told me over breakfast the reason for celebrating Easter, and later Daddy and I had a conversation about Jesus and how he rose from the dead!  That's really awesome!

I hope you had a great Easter and will join me in celebrating Jesus all year long!

Bye for now,
Davis

Showing My Hiney

Well, yesterday was my first day outside working in the yard, this year.  It was a blast, although I have to be careful of the sun and getting burned.  Today, I am so excited because Daddy, Mommy and I are going to plant some flowers and sow some weed & feed in my yard.  It's supposed to be about 80 degrees outside so it will be a great day.

However, prior to my outside work I was  big help inside.  I helped with laundry (with my pants on the ground), and helped clean out my clothes drawers in my bedroom.

When the day was done I took a little nap and I was so tired I slept in a really weird position, you should try this position (and yes, my hiney was in the air)!!

Hope you have a great weekend!  I look forward to celebrating the resurrection of Jesus this weekend!  I hope that whoever and wherever you are, you will take the opportunity to celebrate as well!!

Happy Good Friday!
