Eat and Sleep Is All I Do

It's been a busy week at my house. My church was hosting VBS all week so my daddy was up early everyday. I slept in most of the week, but then got ready and went and saw daddy a few days. I had fun seeing that many kids in one place. I can't wait to be hanging out with those kids over the next few years. My mommy caught me doing a few crazy things this week, and here's proof... I am getting really close to holding my own bottle... Then I got caught snoozing big time! I was playing with my bib then decided to just go to sleep midway through. I was very sleepy! Then just today, I was a little fussy. I know you thought I'm never like that, but oh well. I'm a little boy and I just may be teething or something! So to keep me settled down, daddy laid me across his lap and within seconds...I was out like a light! There was mommy being camera happy! It's gonna be a great weekend! It's VBS weekend so I'm going to sneak into a morning service to hear all my friends as well as hear my daddy (my daddy is speaking at all four services).

Well, speaking of eating and sleeping (as this blog is called), I just ate and am now having a hard time keeping my eyes open to type this. So I am off to sleep...

My Daddy's First Father's Day

Well, Friday night we went out for dinner and had a little pre-Father's Day celebration and then Sunday was the big day. . . my Daddy's very first Father's Day! I was so excited to celebrate with him. I am still very young, but even though I've only been on this earth a little over three months, I LOVE MY DADDY! Daddy always makes me laugh, or just smile, and our favorite times are when he tucks me in bed every night.

We started the day out with a big breakfast. My Mommy and Daddy could not sleep very well, so Mommy got up and went to the McDonalds drive-thru. When she came home it was a nice chicken biscuit for Daddy and coffee for Mommy. . . oh and formula for me, of course. After breakfast Daddy opened his Father's Day gifts. Among the gifts I gave him was my favorite bib!

Daddy opened his other gifts and I think his favorite was a picture of me. Mommy and I were very sneaky and we went and had some photos made of me and Daddy didn't know it. He loved his picture & displayed it in his office all day Sunday! After opening all the gifts Daddy left for church and Mom and I proceeded to get ready for church ourselves. So, we headed off to church! After church we came back home, changed clothes and went to Grammy and Pop pop's house the celebrate the day with the fam. We had a wonderful lunch and after watching golf all afternoon we came home and crashed for the night. I hope my Daddy had a wonderful first Father's Day! I am already looking forward to Father's Day next year. I LOVE YOU DADDY!! Bye for now, Davis

Hiatus

Okay, so I have been gone for a while. Let me just say that this past week was not my best. I have been really sick. Last Saturday night I was very sick to my stomach and it has taken almost all week long to get over the little virus. Thank goodness today I am feeling alot better, and I think everything relating to my stomach is back to normal! Whew!! I didn't know if I was going to make it for a little while. . . it was reeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaalllllllyyy bad!!! Since I have been feeling better my Mommy, Daddy, and Grammy and Pop pop went to a Father's Day dinner last night. Since we will be having a barbecue on Father's Day, we took Pop pop out to eat last night. Dinner was great and I'm looking forward to celebrating some more on Sunday. Yesterday my Daddy received a gift in the mail from my Grandma and Grandaddy. They sent him a T-shirt that he modeled last night. He sported his new shirt at dinner and I was proud he was my Daddy!

Don't go too far, because I am looking forward to surprising my Daddy for Father's Day!! I will make sure pictures are posted. Hope you all have a wonderful Father's Day weekend.

My Best Buddy

Recently my Daddy and Mommy introduced me to a new friend. He doesn't talk alot but he is always available to hang out on the couch with me and even take naps with me. He is a great play mate! Mommy thinks he may be a worm, but I like thinking of him as my pet snake. He is really colorful and even makes some noise when I grab certain parts of his body. I play with him alot and even wrestle with him. I like just gazing at him sometimes because I think all of his colors are very, very interesting. I am pretty sure he is officially my best buddy. I love giving my buddy kisses and hugs too! We get close and cuddle alot! I play really hard with my buddy and then I have to break for a nap, and the cool thing about my snake is he is always up for a nap right along with me! I love it!!

I better run, gotta go play some more!

Sunday Best

Last Sunday my Mommy decided to dress me up like it was Easter again. I don't mind being dressed up for church, but sometimes my Mom does go a little overboard with it. Since Mommy and I went to church on Saturday night, and then on Sunday as well, I hung out for a while in Pastor Greg's office with my Mommy and my Aunt Denise. The two of them decided to take pictures of me, so here you go, I'll share them with you.

I also know that my Grandma likes to see me all dressed up, so there you go Grandma. . . . this blogs for you!

Happy Camper

It has been a busy week around here. As we skipped in and out of the rain, we have been having a good time. My week included...my first photo shoot for daddy for father's day (don't tell him, okay?), shopping with mommy, went to student night on Thursday night (heard daddy speak and had a good time with all my friends), and then last night's video scavenger hunt with the students. Here's what I decked out in for the scavenger hunt....I was all smiles... Daddy asked for a serious pose.... And if you are wondering...yes, I am mommy's new man! Sorry daddy! Wearing this brought a smile to mommy as well as me too! Well, it is off to what we do best on Saturdays....nothing much. Just chillin' like a villan'! Lunch time....adios, Davis

Seeing Through Daddy's Eyes

Since the day I was born I have noticed that sometimes my Daddy wears glasses and sometimes he wears contacts. I have to admit that I am very intrigued by his glasses. I really wanted to see what my Daddy saw when he looked through those big glasses. So, one day Daddy let me take a look at the world through his eyes. It was really cool how everything looked bigger through Daddy's eyes. Oh yeah, you may be wondering why the front of my shirt is unbuttoned like that, well, my Daddy thought it would be neat to get a picture of my big chest muscles. . . so there you have it. I know you probably did not even notice Daddy's glasses for looking at my big chest!! Just kidding with you. I better roll, it's almost time for bed. Good Night, Davis
