So my mommy and daddy (mostly daddy) have been planning this 11 day trip up to Delaware. Daddy wanted me to see his ole' stomping grounds. He was born there and lived there until he went off to college in FL in 1991. Mommy has only been there once, about 3 years ago, for only a couple days when my great grandma passed away. So off we headed as soon as church was over on Mother's Day.
We drove up to grandma and granddaddy's in Greenville, NC. FYI...I have been excellent in the car lately. We just stayed over night, but got spoiled only in that short amount of time. Then we got up on Monday and drove to Washington DC. The weather was cool but awesome. They showed me the Capitol. That was huge!
After a day there, we drove a lil' up the road to Baltimore and spent the night...
We expected to do a lot more around there, but the weather took a turn for the worse. Matter of fact, we went to the Orioles game and it got down to 45 degrees and rainy so we sat in the restaurant at the stadium and watch it on TV.
Well, now we're heading to Delaware to spend the next 5 days with my daddy's family. I'll post some more pics soon....
