There are so many things that I enjoy doing!  There are a few things that I absolutely love and Mom says that those things are my favorites!  So, with that in mind, I thought I'd take a few minutes and share some of my absolute favorites with you.  Hold on to your helmets cause here goes......

1.  I absolutely love eating waffles.
2.  I love blowing bubbles and then playing in them as they soar around!
3.  I love anything Veggie Tales.
4.  I love playing baseball.
5.  I love riding on the carousel!!  Sometimes, I even enjoy not riding on the horse;)
That's just a few things that I really enjoy.  I will save the rest for later so please keep checking back in.  Hope you are enjoying your summer!

Post Vacation Fun

As you can tell most of my life includes fun times!!  Whether I am on vacation, on a weekend, or in my normal routine from Monday to Friday, I am a fan of FUN!!  Vacation was an absolute blast, but even since vacation I have had a ton of fun times.

One thing that Mom, Dad, and I have done since vacation is visit the Williamson County Fair.  We decided to check out the fair on a Tuesday night because it was the BOGO free admission night.  There were lots of rides, of course, but there were also some farm animals, a walk-thru where I could pretend I was a farmer, tractors, great food, and a awesome BMX bike show!!  It was pretty awesome!

Mom was a little carried away taking photos, so here you go....
Needless to say, the Fair was a blast!  I wish you could've been here to go with me!

Hope you are doing well and having a great Summer!

Vacation Fun

I hope and pray that you all have been doing well.  It's been really hard to keep up with everyone, (including the blog world) during my busy Summer.  This summer has been full of fun and activity, but today I want to tell you about my Summer Vacation/Family Reunion I recently went to in Fenwick Island, Delaware.

Daddy, Mommy, and I left on Sunday afternoon and set sail, (not really) to Delaware!  We were all really excited, but knew that we wouldn't be able to make it there that day.  We stopped that night in Roanoke, Va, which seemed to be sort of a midway mark on the trip.  After a great night sleep, we were back on the road on Monday and finally arrived that afternoon around supper time.  From Monday evening until the the following Sunday, it was a week full of fun.  Among the hi-lites of my week were going to the beach and catching the waves, going to several boardwalks, eating lots of great food, riding some great rides, spending time with my family that I don't often get to see, and playing with my cousins!  Here are a few pictures of the week!

It was a great week and we made so many memories!  I can't wait till my next vacation.... hopefully it will be soon!
Love Ya'll,
Davis

Pre- Vacation Songs

Lately I have been doing alot of singing and watching alot of Veggie Tales.  In fact, watching Veggie Tales movies is my favorite thing to do in the car.  I have a few favorite songs on my favorite DVDs as well.  "The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything,"  is an all time favorite, and if you've never heard it, you should check it out.  Here's a sneek peek...

Now, turn your volume way up and watch again!!  Enjoy!!

Happy Birthday USA!

On July 3rd Hendersonville has a huge celebration for the birthday of America!  They have lots of tents with vendors, live music, lots of people, food, and the night ends with fireworks.  Mommy and I arrived at the celebration a little late because of how hot it was outside.  We were able to visit the big firetruck and also the policemen riding horseback.  I also snagged a few glow necklaces.  Once the fireworks were gearing up to start, all the lighting went out and we all stood by waiting on the fireworks display.  I loved the fireworks this year and had a great time with lots of friends.
Hope you had a great 4th of July,
Davis

Over The River & Through The Woods

Last week Mommy and I loaded in the suburban with our friends, the McGlamerys.  They were kind enough to let us ride along with them as they headed to North Carolina.  We loaded up on Thursday morning and off we went! After 10+ hours of riding Grandma and Grandaddy Asby picked us up and we went to their house for a week.  The week was full of fun activities including baseball games with the whole family, karate class with Bryce, a music concert with Alan, bubbles with Aunt Lori, lots of wrestling with Uncle Quentin, and many stories and puzzles with Grandma.  I was also able to see my newest cousins, baby London and baby Eden!  They are two beautiful little girls!
At the end of the week Mommy and I loaded on an airplane and flew back to Nashville.  I was very excited to ride the airplane and to see Daddy!  It was a great week & I look forward to going back to NC!!

Rewind <------

Let me just play "back-track" for just a little while.  I cannot keep blogging and not tell you how wonderful my Fathers Day was as I celebrated the world's greatest Daddy!  My Daddy is the best, and we celebrated him all weekend long for Fathers Day.
We began our weekend on Friday night at a nice Italian restaurant here in Hendersonville, because Daddy loves Italian food!  We consumed so much food and their bread was especially superb!  After eating Italian on Friday night, we had a relaxing Saturday, followed by a Sunday full of celebration!  I gave Daddy a picture of me with a shirt and tie of his on... he loved it!
All in all, it was a great weekend celebrating the world's greatest Daddy!

Love ya'll,
Davis
