We Are Family

It has been a very busy few weeks around here! It started last week when we got out and about for my Uncle Greg's birthday on Sunday, Aug 2 when we went to grammy and pop-pop's house for a party. Then a day or two later, we went to mom-mom's (she's my great grandmother here in Palm Coast). She's been out of town for a couple weeks so we dropped off a belated birthday gift to her. We had a great time hanging out with her...

Then the next family event was Aunt Denise's surprise birthday. It was a "Lordy, Lordy, look who's turning 40" event (haha..I just made that line up...pretty good, huh?). My Uncle Greg threw a big party where a bunch of friends and family showed up at the park (about 125 peeps). It was fun...got to hang out on the birthday girl's shoulder all night!

Just after we got home that night (Aug. 9), my family from NC arrived. Uncle Q (Quentin), Aunt Lori, and my cousins, Bryce and Alan came down for a 5 day visit with me! Here I am with Bryce...

Now we stayed busy all week taking them all around....St. Augustine, Daytona, and here in Palm Coast. We had a blast. Even Uncle Q led worship at Overflo Student Night. That was cool because at the end, he and my mommy sang together!

But as they say, all good things must come to an end. So they packed up the vehicle Friday afternoon and headed home. I already miss them!

Well, it is back to me, mommy, and daddy here at the parental unit! Just going to relax before heading out to weekend worship at Parkview. Mommy is going to be singing all weekend.
