My Week
It has been a very busy week already. Mommy and I have been out and about every day so far this week. There's just a few things I wanted to share with you guys. First of all, my head is really not as big as it looks in some of my pictures. . . particularly this one. . .
Another thing I wanted to share is that I wore a hat the other day. My Daddy wears hats some times, particularly when he has bad hair days (don't tell him I told you). I didn't have a bad hair day, but thought I would test drive me a hat. I enjoyed that my hat matched my outfit.
I've gotta run, but there's more so come back soon and I'll share the rest of my week.

Skills
Daddy, Mommy and I had a very busy Friday and Saturday. On Friday morning we were all up early and we had to take my Daddy to the ear, nose, and throat doctor to have him checked out. His ears have been hurting alot lately so Mommy and I took him to Port Orange. On the way home we needed to get the oil changed in the car so we stopped off in Daytona. While at the car lot it was time for me to eat. Mommy got my bottle ready and I grabbed it and went to town. Mommy and Daddy were impressed that I could hold my bottle. I knew I could all along but I was just holding out on them to impress them with my skills. It was a first, and let me tell you that bottle was good!!
Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Eating Cracker Barrel and Chillin'
It has been a very stormy night here in Palm Coast! So we stayed indoors and just chilled out as a family! First things first, it was my supper time. Now let me be honest, I haven't enjoyed the switch to the nasty cereal. There is just no taste. I asked daddy to secretly switch to like Fruity Pebbles but mommy heard our conversation and said no! But there was some light at the end of the tunnel because I saw mommy whipping up some green beans! And I got my first official taste of green beans from Cracker Barrel yesterday...okay they weren't that good, but close. So I asked for some tonight...
Can''t you tell that I like ummm? It has been fun eating real food!
Then after dinner, we watched some TV and rolled around the floor playing! Somehow or another, mommy and daddy ended up under my toys with me...
I love family time. We laugh a lot and my parents are always kissing me on my neck and that gets me to laughing a bunch!
So now it's near bedtime! And look who's getting ready to change my diaper and put me to bed?...my mommy!
Well, it's nite nite! Love everybody...my mommy, my daddy, Jesus, and you!

Back Home & Eating Alot
So this week Daddy, Mommy & I came back home from North Carolina. I had a great time with my grandparents and cousins while on vacation. They kept me busy! My Grandma is a busy lady, and she was fun to play with because she made me laugh alot!
It was nice to be back home and there were surprises waiting for me that I didn't even know about. First of all, my Mommy fed me some stuff called cereal. I have to admit, at first I really didn't know what to think of it, but the more she gives it to me the better I like it! I think my favorite thing about eating like that is definitely chewing on the spoon. It feels really good to my gums!
Secondly, I went to the doctor for my four month check-up on Wednesday. I weighed in at 17 pounds and was almost 24 inches long. The doctor said I was going to be a tall young man one day. My doctor is very nice and my favorite thing about him is that we share names; I am Davis and he is Dr. Davis. His nurse, on the other hand, is always the one to give me shots. Today it was 3 shots! No one deserves 3 shots!!! I was a champ through it all. I only cried out one time and the nurse said I did better than the thirteen year old that had received those same shots earlier. I'm just glad they are over with . . . for now.
I had better get back to playing. Thanks for keeping up with me and I hope you all have a good day!
Your little friend,
Davis
PS : Please be praying for my Daddy, he hasn't been feeling too good lately. He was even a little sick on vacation. I think he may have to get his tonsils taken out, but we will see once he goes to the specialist.

On The Road Again
We left out on Sunday, July 12 to head to Greenville, North Carolina for a nine day vacation at my grandma and granddaddy's house. The best part about it was the middle of the vacation Here's why...
My mommy and daddy went away for two days without me (Kings Dominion to be exact). So that meant that I got to stay at my grandparents and get spoiled rotten for 48 hours. We had a blast! Here's some proof...
Needless to say, it was fun while mommy and daddy were away! I missed them, but I made the best of it...well, actually grandma did! Oh look...I think I see mommy and daddy coming back...
Then I got to spend the next day (Thursday) with grandma. We got to spend sometime on the front porch enjoying the outdoors!
Well, got more vacation to spend! Got some of the Elks gang coming over in a little bit..
I'm out,

Growing Boy
Mom and I had quite an experience last night! I was not in a very good mood, because I was tired. Mommy was trying to change my clothes, and so she grabbed this shirt of mine and proceeded to put it on me. I was crying a little bit. . . okay, so maybe I was crying a whole lot! After all the trouble to get the little shirt on me this is what the end result was. . . . .
All I could think was, "I'm a growing boy Mom, what can I say?"
Peace Out Ya'll, D

Side 2 Side
This week my favorite play partner is out of town. Daddy had to go away to camp, so Mommy and I are hangin out. I miss having my Daddy here to play with me. There is one thing that I have discovered and really like. I love to roll over on my side, I've even slept that way the last couple of nights. Mom says eventually I will roll completely over, but I don't know about that. I love laying on my side and curling up in a ball. My Mommy and Daddy sleep like that too, so I think it's cool that I can do like they do!
That's all for now. I hope you all are having a great summer and I will touch base soon!
