Home Sweet Home

After 72 hours in the Halifax Hospital, it was time for the Peters family to go home. So after my mom and dad signed some papers, we packed up and headed home. I really liked the hospital and the nurses and doctors were awesome. But, home is gonna be better... My final photo at the hospital This was where I was born. In Daytona Beach....and yes, it was Spring Break Week (and 85 degrees). Here I am about ready to get into my ride. This was my first time outside ever! I'm glad my parents live in Florida! Me and my beautiful mom as we head home! Me and my parents in the car I'm all set and ready to go! And when I got home, I had to choose what I wanted to wear. Look at my closet! Wow, people have been really kind to me! I'm gonna look good! Then we had a house call from the doctor! Actually it was my friends Ethan and Aubrey along with their daddy, Pastor Derek. Ethan was in full doctor gear. And his sister was his nurse. My future children's director, Mrs. Heather took the photo. I was glad the Overton's came over! And Ethan said I was in good shape.
Then we got a call from cool cousin Seth and he asked if he could swing by tonight. So he and his parents, my Uncle Greg and Aunt Denise stopped by for a quick visit. He snuggled with me for a few minutes! Seth and I are going to hang out some more real soon.
Well, I need to get my poopy diaper changed and then it's supper time! After that, I'll be chilling out with my Grandma (from NC), and my mom & dad as we watch Celebrity Apprentice at 10pm.
Hanging out at home,
Davis

More of Me...

Well, I have been so busy over the last 2 days. But, I am doing great as well as my mom and dad! I have been sleeping a ton (about 23.5 hours a day) and eating well! I've had a bunch of visitors, mostly family, so I've tried to be awake but to no avail most of the time. Here's some photos from just a few hours ago...
Gotta get back to sleepin'! More pics tomorrow!

I Won't Be Long

Hey everyone! Hope all is well on the outside (you know, I'm on the inside). My family and I went and saw the Doctor on Wednesday and he, once again, said all was well. He also said I was in a great position to come out and see everyone. I knew I was in a pretty comfortable position, cause it puts me to sleep whenever Mom will get still. He didn't really give us any new news as to when I would be able to see and meet everyone, but I do know I'm supposed to be out by Sunday, March 8 (WOW, that's soon). So, I better just enjoy some of my last alone moments, huh?!?! I look forward to meeting Mom, Dad, all of my Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and cousin Seth. Hopefully Mom, the Doctor, and I can all work together so that I will be out of here by the end of next week. I hear that I have lots of people waiting on me, so I won't be long! I better go, Mom and I have some cleaning to do this morning. Looking forward to meeting you! Davis

Any Day Now . . .

I went to see the Doctor yesterday and he has not been helpful lately with letting me know when I will get out of this tiny space. I'm sure he doesn't realize how uncomfortable I am cramped up in here and standing on my head! He told my Mom she looked very healthy, I seemed healthy, and she could give birth to me any day. As anxious as I am to get out of here and meet everyone I've been hearing lately, I don't think I am as anxious as my Mom and Dad are. I heard them say that my nursery was all ready and the only thing needed was my presence. Well, I better get going I have a busy day ahead, and Mom likes for she and I to stay busy so time goes by quicker while she waits to see me. I can't wait to meet you all, see my nursery, and hang out with my family. Promise I'll see you soon! Davis

A Valentine's Day Shower For Us!

Good evening! Hope all is well in your neck of the woods. All is grand here. I am just hanging out (actually in). Tomorrow is another big day because me, mom, and dad head back to the doctor to see how I am doing. Hopefully, the doctor will release me soon! Well, we had another big baby shower! On Saturday, February 14, the Women of Parkview gave me and my mom an incredible baby shower. Beth Allen opened her home up to some 40 plus women who showered me and my mom with a ton of gifts! It felt like Christmas day although I never have experienced one of those yet (but that's how my mom and dad felt). I am now going to be the best dressed little guy in Palm Coast. Here's a quick peek of the gift table! Wow, huh? This is one of my favorites! It is a diaper cake. No, you don't eat. I will wear 'em! Actually, this was my cake, baked by none other than my favorite cake decorator, Mrs. Heather. Now here was a cool gift given to me by Mrs. Bonnie. It means a lot to me because my great granddad was a jockey in the 1930's and rode the famous horses, War Admiral and Seabiscuit. Mrs. Bonnie painted this to match everything in my room. Maybe my dad or one of my grandparents will buy me a real horse one day. And I had to show you these roses! I bought them for my mom for Valentine's Day. I gave them to her at the baby shower. Well, I better conclude. Gotta a head rush all of a sudden. That's what happens when you are upside down for awhile (like a month or so now). See you real soon, Davis Anderson

What a Surprise!

Last Thursday night (January 29), the students of Overflo surprised me, my mom and dad with an incredible shower. You should have seen our faces when we walked into the SonZone Theater. The best was my dad had started speaking to the students and Mr. Andy came in and interrupted telling my parents they were needed in the SZ Theater. The baby shower was great! There were over 100 in attendance. They had decorated the room including a 20 foot long banner that all the students signed. There was also all kinds of food including a huge cake baked by the Parkview cake extraordinaire, Mrs. Heather! The cake weighed every bit of 30 pounds! Thanks Mrs. Heather for the sweet fix. We've been eating the leftovers everyday! To all my friends at Overflo, thanks for everything you gave me! I especially liked the high chair from all the students. Also, thanks to all the Overflo vols and families, your gifts were great too! I would list all the gifts but there were far too many! It was an incredible night is all I can say! You'll just have to stop by "my crib" sometime so I can show you it all. I now know why my dad says "Overflo rocks!" He is right. You rock! Thanks again for everything. I appreciate it all. See you soon, Davis Anderson
