A Sneak Peek at My Crib

Well, you have been asking! Here's my crib! This is where I will be living my life (okay...maybe till I'm 18)
Then it's on to my room. It won't be hard to figure out which one...with my name on the wall!
Here's my theme...argyle blue, white and green
Here's my furniture that my cousin Seth, Aunt Denise, and Uncle Greg gave me!
Pop-pop and my dad did a cool paint scheme on my walls. Three blue walls then a white wall with cool argyles painted above my crib! I think actually pop-pop did all the work!
I heard my dad tried to do the argyle painting without pop-pop. Heard pop-pop had to paint over it and start again. An "A" for effort Dad!
Well, now that you have seen, I hope you enjoyed it! My parents won't let me move into it until like March 8. Guess I'll stay cramped up where I am now!
See you in 39 days,
Davis Anderson

I'm Heading That Way!

Just 7 weeks from tomorrow, I will be heading that way...literally! Mom and Dad took me to the doctors on Monday and he said that all looks great. I have even put myself into a good position for an easy delivery (is there such a thing?). It is getting tight in here but will only get worse because I will gain another 3 to 4 pounds over the next 7 weeks. I'll need weight watchers when I get out of here. I heard my room is almost finished. They won't tell me what it looks like yet. I can't wait to see it! Just to get in my own bed will be a great thing! I know my mom will be thrilled too when she can stretch out without me sticking out of her belly! She's been a tropper though! My dad is counting down the days. Ya know, I wonder if he will cry when he sees me? I heard he cried at Lamaze Class! Me and mom are just chilling out this weekend as my dad is in Alabama speaking at a youth retreat. Wonder if he will talk about me? Mom and I are singing at all 4 weekend services at Parkview so we will keep ourselves busy while he's away! Well, mom is hollering at me to get off the internet so I need to head out.... See you soon, Davis Anderson

Yucky, Yuck, Yuck!

Sorry I have been out of commission for so long, but I was terribly sick last week, and prior to that it was the hustle of Christmas. I had a wonderful Christmas in North Carolina with my grandparents and cousins. I received so many gifts, and relied on my Mom and Dad to open them for me. I can't wait till next Christmas when I can partake in opening my own gifts, it seems like that would be alot of fun! After Christmas I went to Tampa with my Mom, Dad, and the students at my church and I got sick. . . terribly sick. I had a terrible stomack virus New Year's Eve night. My poor Mom was about to die. It was less than 24 hours later that Mom and I were eating good again and ready to nurse Dad back to health, as he had gotten sick later as well. I'm glad that is over and hope it's a very long time before we go through anything like it again. Just to let everyone know, I'm excited because this Saturday my Parents are going to a Lamaze class. I look forward to all they will learn and hopefully getting me out of this small and cramped up space will be an easy process for Me and Mom! Also, I go back to the doctor on Monday, and can't wait to hear what he has to say. Well, I better be going. It's getting late and I have a busy Friday tomorrow. Once again, I can't wait to meet you all for the very first time! Peace Out (In Here) Davis

Yesterday's Doctors Appointment

So, yesterday I had to go back to the Doctor. I don't particularly like the doctor visits, but I don't mind them as bad as my Mom does. When I arrived, I found out that the Doc. had to leave and run to the hospital for an emergency delivery! So, Mom, Dad, and myself just hung out and ate lunch for a couple of hours, and then went back to the Doctors office for my check-up. My Doctor was very glad to hear that my Mom and Dad had given me a name, and he really liked my name as well (so glad I'm not still the "Baby Boy")! Everyone was able to hear my heartbeat again and the Doctor said that my Mom and I appeared to be very healthy. I can't wait till next month when my Mom and Dad get to see me again in action when I have another sonogram. I better be going. I'm tired because my Mom went for a very long walk this morning that wore she and I out! So long for now. Davis Anderson

After Thanksgiving

It's Saturday and I am still recuperating from all the food that me and my Mom ate on Thanksgiving Day! Wow was it good! It was my very first experience eating turkey and dressing, and my grandmother did a good job cooking. I had the opportunity to hang out with the whole family, and am looking forward to seeing them in a few months. I did find out that they are more country than I thought, actually on the verge of hillbilly (but that's ok). My cousins, Alan and Bryce, showed me a cool music DVD that I really liked. My Mom, Dad, and I left North Carolina about 3:00pm on Friday to head back to my house in Florida. It was a long trip, but Dad stopped for Mom and I at the outlets, as well as a nice greasy hamburger from Hardees. Oh yeah, Mom drove for an hour and we survived! I was proud of my Dad not commenting on her driving. However, Mom wanted to go North on I-95, and that would not have been good! Well, I hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving like I did. I look forward to next year, it will be even more fun! I'll let you know how my doctors appointment goes on Wednesday. Have a great week, because I will! I'm outta here (not really), Davis

It's Me

I will be entering this world in just a few short months! My mommy and daddy are preparing for my arrival by buying me clothes, registering for all the things I need at Target, and getting my room set up! But today was even bigger than that. It's official, my name went from "the little boy" to my really cool name of "Davis Anderson Peters"! My first name "Davis" is an English name that means - "son of David; son of the beloved." My middle name "Anderson" is a Greek name that means - "manly, courageous, brave." Now that's cool! Well, I gotta get back to what I do best and that is sleep! I'll talk to you soon, Davis
