A Picture (or Two) Is Worth a Thousand Words!

Ya know, my life is so good! I love every minute of it...even when I've been sick over the last week or so. But I am feeling much better. I did find out though, that it isn't much fun around our house when we're all sick. Well, the good news is, I'm back to about 98%, daddy is at 95%, but mommy is still hacking her head off so she's probably about 60%.
With all that said, there's still plenty of love and smiles around my neck of the woods. I think these pictures are worth a thousand words...
Good times at my house! Well, gotta run. Kinda feelin' a nap coming on! Need my beauty sleep cause we're finally able to head to daddy's Overflo Student Nite tonight! Can't wait to see all my friends. This cold I had kept me away for too long! Love y'all, Davis

When You're 10 Months Young You Can. . .

There are soooooooo many things you can do when you are my age. Things that you can't exactly do when you are a big person. I'll just mention a few things that I've experienced recently. First, you can try to crawl into the television and it's okay. The closer you get, the better the show.
Secondly, you can eat cookies and make a huge mess, and just know that your Mommy will be there to clean you up. That's just a few things that I've done recently I thought I would share. I hope you are having a wonderful week, and I look forward to seeing you. Bye for now, Davis P.S. I had some chicken and dumplings today for lunch and they were yummy to my tummy!! Hope you had a good lunch too!

Mickey's Co-Pilot

As you know after Christmas I was only home for a few weeks and then I went to Hilton Head with my family for a few days. So, I did not have alot of time to play with all of my new toys I received for Christmas. I have had so much fun with them all since I've been home. It's so nice to have a room full of my toys, and that's not my bedroom, it's the family room. Alot of my toys make noise, so at any time I can turn on a song or sound (Mommy and Daddy love that). I especially like my Mickey airplane that I fly in. It sings songs, lights up, and the propeller spins too. I love it! Anytime you need a ride, you can come fly with me and Mickey! Off for a flight, Davis

Hilton Head..The Last Few Days & The Aftermath

As posted earlier we've been in Hilton Head for a few days of chillaxin'! Here's some photos of our last day and night out! We headed out to a really cool place on the island! It is a very familiar place to golfers...Harbour Town. Daddy says it's where the big guys play... like my friend, Davis Love III. We got some good photos especially at the top of the big lighthouse...
Then here's the 18th hole (in the background) of that famous golf course. Daddy and I might play it next year!
Here's my two favorite people in all the world as they enjoy the views...
Then we even got pop-pop to climb the 116 stairs to the top. "Pretty good for the ole' man"...as he says often! Love my pop-pop. Here's daddy and pop-pop...
It seemed like all we did all week was eat! We talked about where we would eat dinner at lunch...wow! Oh well, it was all good! BTW, loving the opp to now eat from the high chair!
Well, like everything else...all good things must come to an end! So we headed back Thursday morning, but not before I woke up with a cold! So since we've been home, the aftermath has been rough! I've been hacking my little head off! Doctor says I should be fine, just gotta take my meds and get plenty of rest. In the meantime, just chill out on my favorite pillow and watch tv...
Well, I'll keep you updated on the my first cold of 2010! Say a prayer for me!
Love y'all,
Davis

Chillaxin' in Hilton Head

Sunday afternoon, me, my mommy & daddy, and grammy & pop-pop left after church to head out of town for a few days in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. We were supposed to do this in November but it was postponed to this week. Unfortunately, that meant Uncle Greg, Aunt Denise, Seth, Aunt Lisa or Uncle Chris couldn't make it. So it means I am the center of attention from sun up to sun down! We've had a great time so far. Lots of laughs. The doggy downer is that it is really cold for this time of the year. Hence that means we have to bundle up for the winter. So here's the latest hat fashion (thanks to Grandma from NC)... Well, gotta get back to havin' fun on the island. I'll talk to you soon!

Love y'all, Davis

Nine Months of 2009

As you know 2009 has come and gone. Alot of new things have happened. I was born into this world in March of 2009, so unlike most of you, I only experienced life (where I could see everything) for nine months of this year. It's been a great year for me. I have learned lots of things. Let me show you just a few of them. First, I've learned to feed myself (with my hands, of course). Secondly, I've learned how to crawl like a army man. Thirdly, I've learned how to fit into really tight places and squeeze through to areas where mommy and daddy may not want me to be. Fourthly, I have learned that if I want everyone to laugh, I should make my favorite funny face!

Now, that's not all, but I've gotta go. Mom is calling me to go help her do some chores. Better run, Davis

Christmas in Carolina!

It is hard to believe but Christmas '09 has come and gone! My first Christmas was awesome! Here's how it went down.. Me, mommy, and daddy left for North Carolina after the final service on Christmas Eve at Parkview which meant like 8pm. Now for the 8 hour trip, I got me some sleep... oh about 7.5 hours of it! We arrived at 4am Christmas morning, and then I played with Grandma and Granddaddy for over an hour. That was fun. We then got into bed until 10am or so. Christmas Day then began with a lot of gifts, a bunch of food, and lots of family. It seemed as if I opened gifts for about 12 hours. Here's some shots... Opening gifts was better than anything! I had wrapping paper everywhere...including the bows! This is where this one ended up, after crawling (not really crawling yet, so it's the army crawl) around... Christmas gifts continue...

Somebody's trying to get my attention from across the room. Can't they see I'm preoccupied unwrappin' still?!

Guess where a bow ended up this time? I guess I am the perfect gift..haha!

Well, thanks to everyone for all the gifts! They included lots and lots of toys, a bunch of clothes, and all kinds of love! Thanks for making my first Christmas the best ever!

And to my mommy and daddy, I love you both! I look forward to making more laughs next year. Just please, no more bows!

Well, it's off to celebrate something called "New Year's". Not really sure what that includes.... maybe some more gifts!

Merry Christmas, Davis
